Marketplace Terms

1Overview
These Marketplace Terms govern transactions and interactions within the goTether marketplace, where creators and agencies connect for services, collaborations, and opportunities.
By participating in the marketplace, you agree to these terms in addition to our general Terms of Service.
2goTether's Role
goTether provides the marketplace platform but:
- Is not a party to transactions between users
- Does not guarantee the quality of services offered
- Does not endorse any particular creator or agency
- Is not responsible for disputes between marketplace participants
We facilitate connections and provide tools, but the relationship and agreements are between the parties involved.
3Creator Obligations
Creators participating in the marketplace agree to:
- Provide accurate information about their services and availability
- Deliver services as described and agreed upon
- Communicate professionally and respond in a timely manner
- Honor commitments made through the platform
- Comply with all applicable laws and platform policies
4Agency Obligations
Agencies participating in the marketplace agree to:
- Accurately represent opportunities and expectations
- Pay creators as agreed and on time
- Provide clear terms for any collaborations
- Respect creator boundaries and preferences
- Comply with all applicable laws and platform policies
5Payments & Fees
Marketplace transactions may involve:
- Platform fees for certain transactions (disclosed before completion)
- Payment processing through Stripe
- Currency conversion if applicable
- Tax obligations that are the responsibility of each party
Payment disputes should first be resolved directly between parties. If unresolved, contact support@gotether.app for assistance.
6Prohibited Activities
The following are not permitted in the marketplace:
- Misrepresenting services, qualifications, or opportunities
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Circumventing platform payment systems
- Soliciting users to transact outside the platform
- Posting fake reviews or ratings
- Harassment or discrimination against other users
- Offering or requesting illegal services
7Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises:
- Attempt to resolve it directly with the other party first
- Document all communications and agreements
- Contact goTether support if you cannot reach resolution
- We may provide mediation assistance but are not obligated to do so
goTether reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes involving platform policies or take action to protect the community.
8Reviews & Ratings
Marketplace participants may leave reviews and ratings:
- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience
- False or defamatory reviews are prohibited
- We may remove reviews that violate our policies
- Attempting to manipulate ratings is grounds for account action
9Marketplace Access
goTether may restrict or terminate marketplace access for:
- Violation of these Marketplace Terms
- Repeated disputes or complaints
- Fraudulent or harmful behavior
- Violation of our Terms of Service or other policies
