This Content Upload Policy governs all content you upload, post, or share through the goTether platform. By uploading content, you agree to comply with these guidelines and our Terms of Service.

When you upload content to goTether:

• You grant goTether a license to use, display, and distribute your content as described in our Terms of Service
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload the content
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on others' intellectual property

All uploaded content must:

• Be owned by you or properly licensed for your use
• Not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy
• Not contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Be accurate and not misleading

You may not upload content that:

• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains unlicensed music, videos, or other media
• Includes personal information of others without consent
• Violates privacy rights or confidentiality obligations
• Contains adult, violent, or otherwise prohibited material (see Acceptable Use Policy)
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading

Special considerations apply to music and audio:

• Only upload music you created or have proper licenses to use
• Cover songs require appropriate licensing
• Commercial music typically requires sync licenses for video use
• We may remove content flagged for copyright issues

When in doubt about music rights, use royalty-free or properly licensed tracks.

Uploaded content should meet these specifications:

goTether reserves the right to:

• Review uploaded content for policy compliance
• Remove content that violates our policies without notice
• Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations
• Cooperate with legal authorities regarding illegal content

If your content is removed, you will typically receive a notification explaining the reason.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without permission, please refer to our DMCA & Copyright Policy for instructions on filing a takedown notice.

If your content was removed due to a copyright claim and you believe it was a mistake, you may file a counter-notification as described in that policy.
